Kayaks, Surf Boards and SUPs

Water sports are a favourite Kiwi past time, but large boards, such as SUPs, Mals and Windsurfers as well as kayaks can be a real challenge to store. Pimp My Garage have a number of practical quality solutions.

INTEGRATED GLADIATOR SOLUTION

Our versatile Gladiator wall hanging system (with a load rating of up to 244 Kg/m2) can handle kayaks, SUPs and surf boards of all sizes, displayed flat against the wall. A simple kayak solution can be created from the Gladiator range for just $170.

RACK IT UP

The attractive kayak rack pictured below is part of the robust outdoor sports Rack It Up range which, being constructed from UV resistant recycled plastic, can be used both inside and outside (even in the harsh NZ sun!). The Rack-It-Up Kayak Storage Rack is made with adjustable padded cradles that slide and tilt to conform to the kayaks hull for a perfect fit. The rack also provides the perfect storage for paddles and doubling as a hanger for life jackets or other accessories.

The Rack It Up kayak rack is a 2-piece set which costs under $130.

The Rack It Up system also has purpose-designed racks for surf boards, stand up paddle  and wake boards of all sizes. These range from $50 - $60 per pair.

CURVE STEEL SURF RACKS

The NZ-designed range of surf and stand up paddle board racks has options for horizontal or vertical storage for up to 4 boards per rack. A tail-protecting rubber mat is available to compliment the vertical rack. There is also a ceiling-mounted option in the range. The Curve surf racks, ranging from $50 to $160, provide a practical way to safely store and display valuable boards of all sizes.
